I can play the note open on my horn (PT6 w/a shilke geib) but my bottom lip goes alomst to the bottom rim of the mouthpiece. It's not real load, but it's there and on my F (PT10 w/a chuck dallenbach mpc) i can get it just by pushing down the 4th vavle and doing the same thing with my lips. It's a pretty big shift down, but it get the note out, now I have to work on slurring out of that note to the d# an octave higher (I think that's the next note, I don't have it in front of me right now).
