The cost is from $2 to $8 initially plus a percentage of the selling price. The exact percentages depend on the selling price and are listed under "selling" on the site. You can run into people who don't pay, or want to return something, but as long as you make it clear that an item is sold as is and get payment before shipping you should be OK. Shipping price can sometimes be an issue, so you may want to check ahead of time on a range of prices. Also you need to know how you will deal with shipping damage. As with anything there are all kinds of scams that people run associated with ebay, but I haven't had any problems.
