I think I have a vintage (engraved, not roller-stamped) King "Duo Gravis" bass trombone bell in my junkpile. It WAS perfect, but I jobbed a refinishing job (to get rid of some factory-defect acid bleeds) out to a "highly recommended" Indiana buffer. The instrument was returned with the bell OBVIOUSLY repaired from a BAD buffing accident, and with a cheezy lead solder repair attempt where they cracked the bell rim. HOWEVER, the repair (except for the rim repair) is "A-" quality work. [They agreed to replace the bell with a new one, when I "called" them on what they had done to my instrument.]

If you want THIS bell CHEEP (say $50, if I can figure out where I put it) you are welcomed to it. The compensation accounts out as follows:

- bell: $10 ("as is" at this price, please)
- "screwing around" with this for you: $40
- shipping: ...at your expense

Let me know if you want it,

-Joe "not afraid to publicly quote price and terms" Sellmansberger
