In case anyone is interested Rodger Vaughan wrote Three Songs for Tuba and Soprano based on three John Updike poems including the Bobo poem. A great recital piece; Entertaining for the audience and challenging for the performers (mostly the soprano) Check out page 155 in the tuba source book..
