hey, i was drum major my sophomore and junior years of high school. I loved it. But my senior i was booted down because i was the only tuba player. The only hard part is think of the band, you after to think is the band still going to be balance without a tuba player. also think of at as if band would benefit more if you were on tuba or as a drum major
