Obviously your budget will have a large impact on what you can buy, but for a large bore, piston valve, horn which is also good for all around playing I like the Meinl-Weston 2155. It's a great horn for a reasonable price. Rudolph Meinl, VMI, and Yamaha also make great horns in the same price range. Willson horns are great, but will cost a little more money. As always, consult with your teacher before buying anything, and try out as many horns as you can. Everybody's playing style is different and what's right for me might not be right for you.
