Walt Johnson cases are the absolute best and are heavy, but I can lift it and I weigh about 110 lbs.
Now, Dolly makes the best gig bags I have ever seen. In each panel of the bag, she inserts a thick plastic sheet that gives maximum protection, more so than a Reunion blues. AND the bag has all of these nifty compartments for stuff like music, mouthpieces, oil.
If you're worried about protection, get both; worried about $$$? Get the johnson case. Farah
