I just read most of your fpo musicians website. The action you're taking now is one that some of the bigger orchestras have been through, some more than once. It's hard to believe, but the entire Metropolitan Opera season was cancelled in 1969-70, and look at them now. But since this is fpo's first time pinned to the mat, it must be scary as hell. Hang in and as difficult is it is, avoid demonizing your adversaries as you remain focused on the issues, and hopefully, you can use your website too keep those issues before the public, as well as those among the powers-that-be that could be your allies.
