I recently acquired a LARGE Conn BBb tuba sight unseen. I thought that this was a 21J based on the description, but it appears to be larger than what I thought the size was for the 21J. This has a 24" removeable, upright bell, 3 top, short action valves, and a bore of about .795" (about 20mm). It is over 7" across where the bell connects to the body and about 6" at the beginning of the bottom bow. This thing dwarves my 4/4 Musica. Is this the normal 20/21J size, or is this a different beast?
