F tuba problem

Hello all. I have a question about the Perantucci PT-10 rotary F tuba. It seems that the high F above the bass clef staff is always high for me (around 20 cents). No matter how much I try to relax, it's either sharp or I miss it trying to play it lower. Once in a while, it's in tune but this is a rarity. Actually, playing it with the fifth valve puts it pretty close but, of course, it's not an open sound. I'm wondering if other PT-10 owners have experienced this. I know of one major player who expressed the same tendency and plays the high F with first valve. I use a PT-65 mouthpiece (with the slightly smaller shank). The horn is fairly new as well. Any help would be appreciated.
