Sorry but I stand by every word about the "bubble-B"....oh and forget that nonsense about the predictability of "buzzing = pitch reliability". Buzzing is no more or less that.....the buzzing of a pitch AWAY from the instrument. If you actually maintain the buzz while attempting to play the horn you will get a buzzed-tone in other words a tone with "buzz" in it. Sure, of course you can't play a pitch without having in your head first but don't believe that myth that buzzing a pitch leads to more RELIABILITY. It leads to a more centred tone, a purer tone and more efficient tone.
