I play a Kalison CC and it works pretty well for me, but I can't say the same for their BBb. Last Christmas I played a four vavle one at a tuba conference and was very disapointed. Overall, the horn had a very stuffy feel in all of the registers and the sound was not as good as some of the other BBb on the floor. In my opinion, there are probably dozens of pro BBb out there, probably for less money, that are better than this particular model. I am not sure if Kalison makes a five vavle version of this tuba, but playing characteristics would probably be similar to the four vavle. Good luck!
