I'd stick with your PT4P for now. My experience is that having a smaller horn (and resultant smaller sound) on the second part, compared to the first part, is unsatisfying. There are a couple of really nice chords in the last movement that sound good if the second player can crank a little. It's too bad that your first player only has access to a 186. Even though it qualifies (in my mind) as a smallish CC, I still feel it is too big for my concept of the first part. I feel my Willson Eb is too big unless I use a somewhat smaller mouthpiece and resist the urge to let fly. Enjoy the performance!
