Nice sound and needs to have the leadpipe changed to make it play better and in tune.
I had the rotors lightened by removing some surface on the bottom of the rotor and decreasing the friction on the bottom bearing.

Intonation was average.

i owned one for 7 years and after i put a different leadpipe on it that had a larger, earlier and faster taper, took some metal off the rotors, vented them, put Cerveny miniball linkage on it, it played pretty good.

Heavy valve caps would have really helped the thin soft brass tuba.
