Now you know why I don't like Amado water keys!

Borrow a set of snap-ring pliers (or find a substitute, such as a pair of needle-nosed pliers). On the end of the valve opposite the button, you'll find a small retaining ring whose ends terminate in a couple of eyelets. These, when compressed together, will allow you to remove the ring and the rest of the mechainsm will follow (be careful to catch the small spring and observe how the parts are assembled).

Clean and oil the internal parts, reassemble and re-insert the retaining ring. You're done. I've always wondered why Amado didn't use a threaded cap instead of the retaining ring nonsense--it would make field-servicing much simpler.
