The first movement is way under-tempo. Others may like it that way, but I didn't care for it all. I'd stick to George Szell/Concertgebouw; Barbirolli/Philharmonia (the Chesky version); any of the Paavo Berglund ones; or even Lenny's earlier N.Y. Phil. one. I know, all we care about is the tubaist.
