I'm in that great time of life where I need to decide what to do after I graduate with my degree in tuba performance. I am really unsure of whether I want to take some time before grad school to get a little financially stable and work on my chops before doing my grad work, or just jump right into it. My goal is to make a living teaching and freelancing and hopefully get a college teaching gig. I'm sure some of you have some good insights on this topic, interested to hear what you'll say.
