The Horovitz is certainly one of the best ( if not earliest ) concertos.
I was instrumental in getting a wind band version eventually done for this.
The Wilby is very popular as is the Ellerby ( quite hard ) which has an
oustanding slow movement worth playing on its own.
There is also Gregson's Symphonic Rhapsody for Euphonium and brass band ( no
piano part ) which is great music.
