I played a Kalison for a few months, that was a few years ago. I was severely disappointed with it. Here's why:
1. I couldn't play above a forte without the horn sounding like it was coming apart.
2. Removable valve/slides was a bad idea... screws kept coming loose.
3. Very soft metal = more dings and dents than I was comfortable with.
4. Bright tone quality at all dynamics- not enough core to the sound.
I'm sure I could find more reasons, but those 4 are big ones to me.
