I just bought a used PT-88 and I am VERY happy with it. The tone can't be beat and it is a very comfortable mouthpiece (only if you hav a big mouth like me!) However, I don't think it would work that well for solos, I have a much easier time soloing on my schilke 67 or Conn Helleberg.
