But aside of this Eb instrument potentially being the right brass band tuba for some small female player hunting a such one, it also might reveal other potentials.

I think it was Tony Clements, who, while his orchestra was into operation, was looking for a potential mainframe for a G tuba.

The only valve loop in a compensating euph valve cluster, that can not be lengthened through slide pulling is the comp loop on the backside of the 2nd piston. Not the biggest problem.

So with a Willson 4 front action comp euph valve cluster this little American Perfection Eb might have the potential for a quite good G tuba reconstruction.
