The other poster is correct aobut the Meinl Weston Flight Cases (or those from custom music) but I think the Walt Johnson Case is wonderful, and back to your original post, the towel you had around the horn to enable it to fit "perfectly" probably actually caused the most damage, because the horn must be willing and able to move inside the case. Think back to Physics class and Inertia and Friction and Newton's 1st Law. The horn must be able to slightly move or the outside forces acting upon it will be increased.
