Today the Colonel announced that SGM Jack Tilbury will be the new Unit Sergeant Major for Pershing's Own. Congrats to him for that. SGM Tilbury has done a great job in the many leadership roles he has occupied over the years. All of us are pretty excited for him.
This leaves an opening in TUSAB for a tubist. SGM Tilbury takes his new post in December, so I would guess that the audition will be announced fairly soon.
The current policy dictates that this spot will be a Ceremonial Band position and SSG Jon Voth will move over to concert band if he wishes because Jon is the Ceremonial Band tubists with the most time in service.
