If you have never played on a Helleberg sytle mouthpiece, do so. I recently acquired an original Conn Helleberg (which is different from the Conn model of today) and I can't begin to tell you what I've been missing for the last 45 years of tuba playing. I never believed a different MP would make such a difference.
