I have a Neptune rotary and I like the PT-88 for the sound and the Miraphone Rose model Solo for control. Better slotting with the Rose, better sound and intonation with the PT-88. I've used a Conn Helleberg 7B, but I found that the whole horn played very sharp, but the PT-88 fixed that. I use the PT-88 most of the time now.
