I am a Percy Grainger fan for band music. Some of those tuba lines are spetacular in terms of melodious material placed in ranges that make you work.
Guy Lombardo recordings feature some of the older bass line reproduction on tuba that are good in displaying the form of bass line playing for the dance/swing band era.
