Dave had me insure the tuba for $300 on the way back, through Amtrack, because apparently he does have business insurance, and, quote, "I don't want them (Amtrack) to know how much it is worth." The tuba being shipped was a 3/4 CC Weril, so it wasn't as big as some others that you may be trying to ship. I think it was in a water heater box, in a plastic bag, with peanuts, but that's all. No case, no pallet.
