In 1996, I had Anvil make a tuba case for my Yorkbrunner. We took it on a trip to China. While the timpani cases, and the bass cases were getting wrecked; splitting open and damaging instruments, my Anvil sustained a few scratches and the horn was completely safe. I had it built so the case opens with the tuba laying on its back. There is a sloy for my toolkit, music folder, 2 mouthpieces and a large storage spot into which you can place a case of beer! I keep a wooden block, extra ties and my concert shoes in there. While a case like this would probably run over a thousand bucks, I'm here to tell you that I wouldn't hesitate a SECOND to buy another, it's worth the cost!!
