The DCW goes between a few tuba players, depending on who is available. Wes Jacobs has not played with them for a while. They usually go to Phil Sinder (Michigan State University) or Fritz Kaenzig (University of Michigan) first. When they have not been available, Bernard Flythe was doing the gigs. Bernard recently moved to Atlanta. Whether they have tuba or not, the group is excellent. They do a couple of "all brass" concerts a year. Other than that, the music rarely calls for tuba.
