During a low conical brass symposium at the Bavarian Music Academy of Hammelburg the mouthpiece maker Bruno Tilz was presented in the form of an interview with him.
A transcript was made, and a 3 page copy came into my hands back in 1994. That copy bears some scars from its age. Yet the .pdf scan file, that can be found through the link given below, is very readable (a tiny trick for those reading from LCD monitors: the higher colour resolution, the less background dithering; oddly enough, as this file is based on B&H .jpeg files. However I have learned, that the trick goes for all of my uploaded .pdf files).
As you can see from the illustration above these lines, there is a catch with this interview: it is in German! However there are that many German reading folks around this board, that I found the upload justified.
The headline translates into something to this effect: "The development is still far from being completed"
