last thursday i was practicing with the quintet that i play in when we decided to try the impossible... play past measure 77 in 'Overture to H.M.S. Pinafore' for some reason we just cannot play past that point. any time we try we laugh until our sides hurt. it is the funny little stereotypical tuba oompah type of thing, i dunno, i cant explain it. but no body can make it past that point that we've played with. it's just way too comical. anyone else have a similar experience?
