I've never played a 2155, but my Marcinkiewicz "Concert Hall" H2 has worked well on every tuba I've plugged it into. It's Marcin's version of a heavy weight m.p. They're scalloped on the outside (for a lack of better word to describe it). They look weird, but it sure plays well for me. I have a feeling that it's like playing a cross between a normal m.p., and some real heavy weight monster. The sound is very centered (slotted), very even, and the octaves are better intune using this thing. It did take some getting used to for me.
