I played on a MW 25 for three years during high school. I thought it was a very good tuba, though granted I had little to compare it to. However, if you do a lot of small ensemble playing, it can be a little large. Not that it won't work, only that it will take more effort on your part to balance the smaller group, especially in piano/pianissimo places. Also, I personally prefer a slightly brighter, more colorful sound for small groups (where voices are to be more distinct), but this is just my personal preference.
