Yes, the conn has a 0.658" bore and 18" bell vs. the 0.687" bore and 19" bell of the King, but there is a little more difference than that. The rest of the tubing on the King is slightly larger than on the Conn and less tightly wrapped. I find the King to be a more open playing horn, especially in the low range. The notes just speak more readily on the King. I also find the King to be more comfortable to hold and play. The finger position and leadpipe height were more comfortable for me. I spent some time with them side by side and just liked the King more. The differences weren't huge, but they were enough to be discernable.
