The workshop will be held at Convocation Hall, 1:30 - 3:30 PM, Tuesday, October 22nd, and admission is FREE thanks to the generosity of local music shop "The Bandstand". Pat is spending a part of the next few days participating in the Music Educators Conference, and will also appear in concert in Calgary with some Edmonton/Calgary high school bands. I don't know what his complete schedule is, but I heard he is not making any "public" appearances.
The best way to get that info positively though, is to call The Bandstand (AT) 780-465-7264 and ask for Susan Smith. Apparently she has arranged a lot of this...Hard to believe that we can get someone of this calibre up here in the (already) frozen North. Might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Should be fun, and its FREE ?!?!?!
