Reading the trumpet parts, they're already transposed. A Bb is written as a C in treble clef and is fingured open. To me I was playing a C but really the note was a Bb. The Eb reading trick I'm aware of. But it still hurts my brain to play I Found a New Baby in Dm on an Eb horn.
