By the way, "Megatone" is, if I'm remembering correctly, a trademark of Vincent Bach. The heavy-wall PT mouthpieces are called something else.
I daresay you could save a bundle and get a regular PT-50 for half the price of the heavy-wall version, and get 99% of its performance.
But if I were really poor and needed a mouthpiece that worked, the choice between the Conn Helleberg and the Bach 18 pretty much covers the bases.
