I recently attended a funeral at Arlington for a friend who lead a platoon in Vietnam. The Army Ceremonial Band played and I was impressed with the lone sousaphone sound, it was like outdoor chamber music.I suppose most people don't notice under the circumstance but I beleive the great playing at least subliminally reaches every heart.
