Sorry about the vagueness of his injury. It is in a cast right now (with various pins holding it together) but he eventually will have some use. It is his right (slide) hand. What I am looking for is some sort of brace to hold the horn while his hand is in a cast. He will have to learn to play left handed, but I think that would be easier than learning a valved instrument.
