The tuition is the same at each school at the per-hour rate. When your tuition goes up, it will go up at all public school in the state.

UT in-state music majors used to pay quite a bit less than NTSU in-state music majors taking the same classes. This was due largely to the fee issue. I am sure that this has only improved marginally since the name change.

And tuition just goes up. That is what it does. It has nothing to do with what we are discussing here. We are discussing why some schools "grow" and change names, and that comparative costs (tuition and fees) are influenced by a school's ability to raise money.
