By "core" I assume you mean the deepest bass. It is goverened pretty strongly by the physics of the equipment. Try a horn with a larger bore, shorter/faster flaring leadpipe, or that flares more quickly after the valve section.

Try a super deep funnel cup mouthpiece. It will diminish higher overtones evenly, but since it doesnt diminish the lowest harmonics, you get more core. You'll need to use more air, though.

Another option is to get a leadpipe that flares out faster. It increases the resonance of the fundamental pitch at the expense of high harmonics. It also makes the high register go flat.

Another option is to put your bell in the very corner of the room and play.
