You should go to Doug Elliott's site. Doug uses a three piece system. Just tell him what you play, and what you want to sound like. He's very knowlegable on mouthpiece selection.
I'm also a doubler on euphonium and bass trombone. With a little tuba thrown in. I use a Schilke 59 rim on all my bass trombones and euphonium (Willson 2950). I use his I cup, which is a little shallower than a Bach 1 1/2G. And a standard (8) shank. I get a nice, dark warm sound with that combination. Above high C though, things start to sound too airy. So if I need to stay and play high, I use a Giardinelli 3GM, which hopefully, doesn't happen too often.
