In my research, I've found that Meinl Weston 2155's have had notoriously bad valves (sticky, easily worn). I have also heard talk that the valves of the newer models are better. I will email Matt and playtest the horn myself as my eyes and ears will be the ultimate judge.

In regardes to the horn being BBb, well, that is more of a moot point. I am not just looking for a BBb horn, I am looking for a fantastic BBb that meets all my needs.

Which are, so far,

Disgustingly good tuning (in all ranges, in all dynamics, with absolutely NO mid-playing slide adjusting)
curiously smooth rotaries (valves maybe)
Deep, thick, lows, mellow middles and singing highes
extremely responsive horn++++++
sweet sound

I realize this will not be cheap, (and no, I am not looking for a York copy) but i am willing to sacrifice some of these to keep within my price range.

Thank you for your opinions and suggestions.

Thank you again for your time Andy
