For me, the whole spirit of the organization died when the name changed. I loved the idea, the sense of humor in the name, and the journal was sometimes useful, if always late.
The name change was nothing but Political Correctness run amok. We have enough of that in the world, and I doubt most tuba and euphonium players care about it. Perhaps those who teach in colleges and universities do have to worry about being politically correct, but excuse me if I won't contriubte to it.
So, I did not renew my membership when it expired after the name change.
