The answer to this is simple - you send off the sousaphone to Elkhorn, WI to the good folks at Badger State Repair, and in approximately 11 weeks and $3,500.00, your instrument is better-than-new, mirror finish, tight valves, no dents at all! This option doesn't require scrubbing, either.
