Infact, I do have a quintet gig on 9/9. About 45 minutes of playing. At the outset, it seemed like a reasonable goal, and I am encouraged by everyone's feedback. Sounds like I just need have more patience and faith. God knows I'm putting in the time! By the way, my primary instrument is organ, and I have also had stellar students. I know my own musicianship improves while teaching. The insights that are shared between a dedicated student and teacher are precious. I always leave the leasson higher than a kite.
