Usually the smaller bore the horn has the easier it is to play high. Although a small bore horn does not guarantee that its player will have great high chops. The smaller bore horns tend to center better in the high register, i.e. you are less likely to chip/miss notes.

Also - the bore size idea does not hold true in all cases. My present CC is much larger in bore than my previous, but it has a much more secure high range. Overall a player's high chops depend on the player, not the horn (or the mouthpiece!!).
