I think the problem you're having is that your question is hard to take seriously. To suggest in this day that any teacher has a lock on placing students into any playing job is absurd. Certainly, there can be favoratism when those that make the decisions at an audition know a candidate in advance or want that player in the job for whatever reason. But I think it would be a very hard case to make to suggest that any teacher has even substantial influence in determining audition outcomes other than with the quality of his/her instruction. And, as has been pointed out many times here, there are many wonderful instructors out there any one of which can help you get to wherever you want to go. Ultimately, it is you that determines whether or not you win an audition by your preparation. Good luck pursuing your goals!
