Raleigh and Chapel Hill were not flooded so if Dave Lewis stayed west of Wilson, he should be fine. Wilson and points east are a very different story. I-40 is still closed and under water in places. Greenville (home of Eastern Carolina University) is without a water system. And, the flooding is on top of the wind damage caused by the hurricane. We are all very happy that Gert stayed out in the ocean.
