I'm a second year student of Fritz Kaenzig at the University of Michigan. I couldn't be more impressed with his (song and wind emphasized) teaching; he really gives his all, and goes beyond the call of duty to make sure his students' needs are met. He's also a top-notch musician (plays with the Grant Park Symphony in the summers), and even though he sometimes goes places during the school year, such as L.A. to play second tuba, I don't think a week has gone by that I haven't had a lesson. I could go on and on about his great qualities; I also think Michigan is a good school for studying music.
